On behalf of the organizing committee, I cordially invite you to join the "World Summit of Antivirals (WSA-2008)", which will be held during July 20-22, 2008 in Kunming, China, with a theme of "combating Severe Viral Infections" and Tech-Tour during July 23-26 in Yunnan, China.
Virus infectious diseases today are a tremendous threat to men, women and children on all continents around the world. As everyone knows, science and technology play the key roles in control and prevention of infectious diseases, so we propose to call for international institutions or organizations extensively to engage in communication in depth for the advances of antivirus projects worldwide through the platform of WSA.
This summit is organized by BITlifesciences, dedicated to the promotion of intellectual exchanges and collaborations in science and technology, particularly in antiviral R & D and therapeutic practices. In the past five years, we have organized major international symposia and conferences with participation of over 40, 000 professionals from all over the world, including world leading scientists, such as18 Nobel Prize Laureates.
For WSA-2008, BITlifesciences plans to:
• Offer 200-250 plenary and parallel presentations
• Arrange 100 scientific and technological posters
• Schedule 5 Pre-conference workshops and training courses
• Organize 27 Professional Sessions on Antiviral R & D
• Initiate 2-3 public awareness activities
