Papers and Abstract Experts from academia, industry and venture capital firms are invited to present on their current research, a commercial implementation of new technology, or the strategic direction of venture capital. If you would like to present at this conference, please send us an abstract of your recent work for consideration. Each contribution will be reviewed by at least 2 members of the Advisory Board. When papers are accepted they will be published in the congress proceedings or recommended to professional journals.

Speech Opportunity
Thank you for attending WCP-2012. Please read the following instructions for abstract submission and oral presentation carefully.
1. PREPARATIONS - PAPER ABSTRACT
All speakers have the opportunity to write a short abstract of their research work. Please send your abstract to Olivia at olivia@bitpetrobio.com. Abstracts selected for oral presentations will be listed on the conference website after they are accepted and the authors will be notified.
We kindly request that you keep in mind the deadline for abstract submission is February 25, 2012.
2. YOUR WRITTEN PRESENTATION
Please prepare your presentation in the English language. The deadline to include your presentation in the Conference Proceedings is February 25 2012. We need to receive your paper in our office on or before this date. PAPERS RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE CANNOT BE INCLUDED IN THE PRINTED CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS. Please submit your paper in MS Word by email to olivia@bitpetrobio.com. If you need to make changes or withdraw your abstract/title from the program before the conference, please contact olivia@bitpetrobio.com.
3. FORMAT OF YOUR WRITTEN PAPER = A4
Your paper should contain the following:
- Name, occupation, employer of speaker
- Personal resume of speaker under the heading ‘About the Author’
- Abstract
Your paper will be printed as you deliver it. Please make sure that all materials are of a representative quality. Your paper should not exceed the limit of 1 A4 page in length.
Important Note: Copies of overheads or PowerPoint slides are NOT ACCEPTABLE as your written paper.
4. YOUR ORAL PRESENTATION
Digital presentation
For your oral presentation you may bring a PowerPoint file on a CD or USB flash drive (memory stick). The organizers will copy the file onto the general laptop for beamer projection. You are highly encouraged to bring an additional copy of your presentation in case of technical difficulties. It is suggested that you email a copy of your presentation to your personal inbox as a backup. If for some reason the files can’t be accessed from your flash drive, you will be able to download them to the computer from your email.
All oral presenters are required to submit an electronic version of their presentation either by 7:00 pm of the day prior to their presentation at the registration desk, or in the meeting room of their presentation 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the session. All presentations will be scanned for viruses and subsequently loaded on the main projector computer. Any changes to a file prior to its presentation must be made through the Registration Desk.
Use of your own laptop is not recommended
● Movies: If your PowerPoint files contain movies, please make sure that they are well formatted and connected to the main files.
● Timing:Please make sure that your presentation is well timed. Every speaker has a maximum of 20 minutes total, including speaking time and discussion. Please keep in mind that the program is full, and that the speaker after you would like their allocated time available to them. |

Submission Guidelines |
- Abstracts should be limited to 300 words in length and must be presented on a single page. Time allotted to speakers will be 20-30 minutes to be determined by the organizing committee. Presentations must present new data of professional or scientific interest biotechnology professionals.
- Author must certify that no prior copyright or intellectual property issues apply to their paper. Once a presentation is accepted, content may not be significantly revised prior to its presentation at the conference. The congress is not responsible for copyright or IP issues.
- Timely submission will allow the committee to make an early decision regarding your paper or abstract.
- The document should be in Microsoft Word and should be saved as the author’s name. The content should be in written in English, and a short autobiography of the author is required.
- The paper should include the author’s name, telephone number, address of the affiliated institution, and email address.
