All accepted posters will be exhibited in the exhibition hall each day according to the different topics of WCP-2012. For the showcase topics of the congress please check the LIST OF POSTER TOPICS and the corresponding dates and times. You will be notified if your poster abstract is accepted for presentation as soon as it has been reviewed by the advisory committee members. All accepted posters will be presented at the poster viewing session during the conference.

Materials to hang your poster will be available at the poster area. Set up time is TBA> You will receive your poster number 4-6 weeks before the conference.

Your presence near your poster is kindly requested if possible during lunches and coffee breaks for discussion with interested delegates. All poster abstracts should be submitted electronically before February 25,2012 to Olivia@bitpetrobio.com.

Poster Abstracts Format:
The regular poster size is 70cm (width) x 90cm (height)
Title should be in capital letters
Author (s) and principal affiliations, with the presenting author named first
Abstract text of no more than 500 words
A list of references is optional (no more than 5)
The text must be typed in single line spacing in black using less than 12 pitch characters.

Poster Duration and Frequency
The poster sessions are designed as a unique networking event in the hall along the conference
Usually posters can only be included in one field at a time. If you want to hang your poster in different areas then multiple poster fees will apply.
If you have more than one poster presentation, you have to pay $100 for each of them for the space rental and operation cost
If you want to show your posters during the congress, you have to pay a $200 fee for basic maintaining costs at the convention center.

Poster Sessions

All posters must be hung by the participant in the designated area of the exhibition hall by the28th of April and removed by the 30th. For identification purposes, a poster code number is required for each poster presenter. Posters may be viewed during the entire conference and authors may be present to answer participant’s questions. The poster sessions will be divided into the following five zones:

As space is limited for poster presentation, the above five zones may be re-allocated to different days if the number of poster applications requires it. Your presentation date will be sent to you4-5 weeks before the congress.
