Yang, Professor, Department of Biomedical Sciences, School of Life Sciences, Xiamen University, China; Dr. Michael R. Hanley, Chief Scientific Officer, Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc., USA and Dr. Ruian Xu, Professor and Director, Engineering Research Center of Molecular Medicine, Ministry of Education & Institute of Molecular Medicine, Huaqiao University, China, gave attendees wonderful speeches at Keynote Forum. Over nearly 200 renowned professors, laboratory principals, project leaders and representatives of well-known enterprises attended the ceremony.
This innovative conference brings together from around the world leading scientists, researchers and clinicians from the fields of diabetes, endocrinology as well as metabolism. The dual aims are to promote information exchange and linkages between specialists from different areas, and to foster interchange between those with different scientific emphasizes in studying endocrinology and metabolism. Endocrinology diseases have been receiving rising recognition globally and one of the challenges facing the practice of endocrinology in China and other parts of the world is the diabetes epidemic and its clinical treatment. During the conference, a number of distinguished speakers join us discussing the latest advances in the field of diabetes or endocrinology. At the same time, WCE-2011 offers an exciting program covering a wide array of topics in endocrinology and metabolism presented through a keynote forum, interactive sessions, state of the art lectures, extended talks, poster sessions, and exhibition.
Most participants gave a high appraisal to WCE-2011. According to the investigations after the conference, over 90% participants expressed that they would like to attend WCE-2012. Depending on the warmly support and good suggestions from all of the participants, we are confident in organizing WCE-2012 which would be better and more successful than WCE-2011

Yours sincerely
