Operated by Foreign Experts Databank of SAFEA-Dalian Biotechnological and Medical Experts Subdivision, BIT Lifesciences, Inc, BIT's Inaugural Symposium on Enzymes & Biocatalysis-2010 was held successfully in Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center during April 22 -24, 2010. More than 400 attendees from 48 countries and regions participated in this conference.
It was great honored to invite 5 Keynote Speakers to have a keynote speech in opening ceremony: Dr. Wenping Wu, Director, R&D China, Novozymes China; Dr. Ling Hua, Founding and Managing Director of China Research Center at Genencor, A Danisco Division. China; Dr. Wenying Li, Principal Scientist, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., USA; Dr. Yijun Chen, Endowed Professor and Director, Laboratory of Chemical Biology, China Pharmaceutical University, China and Dr. Dongzhi Wei, Professor, Director, Newworld Institute of Biotechnology, East China University of Science and Technology, China as well as the international industry's top 100 enterprises, other international major project owners, chief of foreign academic and research institutions who would like to open up markets and investment in Chinese international business.
10 Tracks and 31 sessions were smoothly presented in this annual congress, which includes: "Innovations in Industrial Enzymes and Biocatalysts; "Enzyme Titer and Activity Improvement "; "Biocatalysts in Biotransformations"; "Enzymes as Drug Targets and Therapeutics"; "Enzymes for Diagnostics and Analytical Applications"; "Enzymes for Food and Beverage Industries"; "Enzymes for Fibre Processing"; "Enzymes for Agriculture, Animal Feed and Environmental Protection"; " Hydroxylases and Their Role in Metabolism ".
Although some European Speakers were absent because of unforeseen issue of Volcano Eruption in Iceland, the audiences were particularly excited and fascinated by the high level of interest expressed by our arrived speakers. Meanwhile, many speakers have approached us to express their interest in the SEB-2011, we believe it will be a brilliant conference in SEB-2011 with this year’s precious suggestions; we will keep dedicated to providing an information platform for researchers all over the world to communicate and promote the Gene development. We are looking to seeing you at the SEB-2011 on April in Dalian, China. |
