BIT’s 4th Annual World Congress of Regenerative Medicine & Stem Cell (RMSC-2011), successfully held in Beijing International Convention Center on November 11-13, 2011. Totally, there were nearly 200 participants from more than 30 countries and areas have attended the RMSC-2011.
As the keynote speakers, Dr. Michael Whitaker, Professor, Institute for Cell and Molecular Biosciences, Newcastle University, UK; Dr. Edward Lanphier, President & CEO, Sangamo Biosciences, Inc., USA and Dr. Mohan Vemuri, Director, Life Technologies, USA made excellent presentations and warmly discussed with the audiences at keynote forum.
32 sessions covered 6 fields including Outlook on Global Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering Projects, Basic Sciences and Innovative Technologies, Basic Sciences and Innovative Technologies, Drug Discovery and Clinical Translation, Bioprocessing of Tissues Engineered and Stem Cells and Young Scientist Research and so on. With the mission to initiate a sustainable platform for exchanging up-to-the-minute upstream and downstream achievements, industrial needs and research opportunities of industrial biotechnology fields in Asia Pacific Rim, participants from academic, industrial professionals and key-decision makers delivered the new achievement on their research, together discussed and analyzed the development of Regenerative Medicine & Stem Cell. The conference has promoted the communication of colleagues and collaboration of partners from the upstream to the downstream of Regenerative Medicine & Stem Cell.
Depending on the warmly support and good suggestions from all of the participants, we are confident in organizing RMSC-2012 which would be better and more successful than RMSC-2011.

Regenerative medicine and stem cell constitute a huge industry of medical technology and services, which is led to the Multi-disciplinary Cross Action and cooperation, such as life sciences, biological materials, computer control, bioinformatics, clinical medicine, and a new driving force of international bio-high-tech areas.
