On May 18-20, 2010, BIT's 1st Annual International Conference of Medichem-2010 was held successfully in Beijing, China. During the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Hailin Liu, the vice-director, China Medicinal Biotech Association deliver opening remarks and speech to all our participants.

As the keynote speakers, Dr. Klaus Müller, Professor, Pharmaceutical Research, F. Hoffmann La- Roche AG, Switzerland; Dr. Giovanni Natile, Professor, Dipartimento Farmaco-Chimico, University of Bari, Italy; Dr. Tony Wood, Vice President, Head of Worldwide Medicinal Chemistry, Pfizer Global Research & Development, UK; Dr. Andreas Goutopoulos, Director, Medicinal Xhemistry, EMD Serono, Inc, USA made excellent presentations and warmly discussed with the audiences at keynote forum.

Totally, there were more than 400 participants from more than 32 countries and areas have attended the ICM-2010. Participants from academic, industrial professionals and key-decision makers delivered the new achievement on their research, together discussed and analysis the development of medicinal chemistry. ICM-2010 provided an integral forum of international collaboration for leaders in trends of Medicinal Chemistry, and offer further high quality, broad spectrum medicinal chemistry program with the chemistry beauty and intelligence realizations for better molecules delivered through case studies, lectures on new strategies and methodologies, posters and exhibitions.

Depending on the warmly support and good suggestions from all of the participants, we are confident in organizing ICM-2011 which would be better and more successful than ICM-2010.
