The 1st Annual International Congress of Antibodies 2009 was hold successfully in International Convention Center, Beijing, China during May 22-24, 2009. The conference was supported by China Medicinal Biotech Association (CMBA), P.R. China; GenScript Corporation, USA; and Buchang Pharmacy Group, P.R. China.
This year's congress has obtained highly focus and extensive attentions throughout the world. Honorable leaders and distinguished guests worldwide have come all the way to attend this congress. There were in excess of 300 registrants from 29 countries, 150 abstracts, 11 exhibitors, 5 professional media altogether. Most of them registered for this congress as a group.
The participants of the conference had a good chance to hear from the renowned keynote speakers Dr. Zhi-Nan Chen, Professor, Academician, Cell Engineering Research Center, Fourth Military Medical University, P.R. China; Dr. Yajun Guo, Professor and Director, Cancer Institute and National Engineering Research Center for Antibody Medicine, SMMU, P.R. China; Dr. Siqi Liu, Professor, Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, P.R. China; Dr. Frank Zhang, CEO, GenScript Corporation, USA.
Most participants gave a high appraisal to ICA-2010. According to the investigations after the conference, over 70% participants expressed that they would like to attend ICA-2010. Depending on the warmly support and good suggestions from all of the participants, we are confident in organizing ICA-2010 which would be better and more successful than ICA-2009.
