IBIO2013
BIT's 6th World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology (ibio-2013), successfully held in Nanjing Jinling Convention Center Nanjing International Expo Centeron April 25-27, 2013. Totally, there were nearly 200 participants from more than 24 countries and areas have attended the ibio-2013.
As the distinguished keynote speakers, Dr. René Labatut, Vice President, Manufacturing Technology, Sanofi Pasteur, France; Dr. Philip Miller, Vice President, Global Regulatory, Monsanto Company, USA; Dr. Manfred Kircher, President, Chairman, CLIB2021 (Evonik. Industries), Germany; Mr. Jerold Martin, Sr. Vice President, Global Scientific Affairs, Pall Life Sciences (div. Pall Corporation), USA made wonderful presentations and discussed heatedly with the audiences at keynote forum.
14 selected sessions covered 9 fields including Synthetic Biology and Sustainable Productivity, Industrial Microbiology, Food Biotechnology, Environmental Biotechnology, Agriculture and Plant Biotechnology, Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology and Biomedical Devices and Equipment. ibio-2013 brought together academic professors, industrial leaders, policy makers and investors to share their new research and achievements, warmly discussed and analyzed the sustainability development of Biotechnology. As the platform for exchanging achievements, industrial needs, getting more research opportunities and latest news of renewable energy, the conference has catalyzed the communication and cooperation of experts and scholars for their professional development and relationships.
With the great efforts and contributions from all the participants, we believe that the next conference ibio-2014will be much better and more successful than ibio-2013.
Introduction to IBIO-2013
The 6th Annual Industrial Biotechnology (IBIO-2013) is dedicated to the dissemination of advanced knowledge in all areas of Industrial Biotechnology. It is designed to provide a strong platform for professionals from both academic and industrial sections to make experience exchanges around the world. Since Industrial Biology has made tremendous strides over time, we aim to bring together academic professors, industrial leaders, policy makers and investors to present their exciting new findings in major plenary sessions and in a wide array of more specialist forums.
