Papers and Abstract
Experts from academia, industry, and venture capital firms are invited to present on topics ranging from current research to commercial implementation of new technology or the strategic direction of venture capital. If you would like to submit a paper at this congress, please send us an abstract of your recent work. This congress covers technological advances and research results in a wide range of fields in biotechnology. Each contribution will be reviewed by at least 2 experts from the Advisory board.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts should be limited to 300 words in length and must be presented on a single page. Time allotted to speakers will be 20-30 minutes to be determined by the organizing committee. Presentations must present new data of professional or scientific interest biotechnology professionals.
- Author must certify that no prior copyright or intellectual property issues apply to their paper. Once a presentation is accepted, content may not be significantly revised prior to its presentation at the conference. The congress is not responsible for copyright or IP issues.
- Timely submission will allow the committee to make an early decision regarding your paper or abstract.
- The document should be in Microsoft Word and should be saved as the author’s name. The content should be in written in English, and a short autobiography of the author is required.
- The paper should include the author’s name, telephone number, address of the affiliated institution, and email address.
Poster
Call for posters
All participants are eligible to submit a poster for the conference. The Poster Sessions offer a unique opportunity to display your research projects before your peers, and to exchange ideas with fellow participants. Attendees may view and discuss the posters and leave messages for the authors. The posters will be displayed for the duration of the event, allowing maximum visibility of your research. Posters must be relevant to the conference and exhibition themes and should illustrate new technologies and ideas. Researchers with new results or patents are encouraged to apply. Some individuals will be selected to give an oral presentation of the content of their poster.
How to submit
To participate in a poster session, you must apply by completing the online Poster Submission Form and submitting an abstract of 500 words or less. It must be written in English and include the name of the principal author and all contact details (organization, mailing address, email, phone number, fax number, poster title, additional authors). Please note that the abstract must be suitable for direct publication in the Congress Proceedings. A fax or hard copy will not be accepted for publication.
Important Dates
The deadline for poster submission is February 28, 2012.
Poster participants do not have to registered delegates of the conference. We invite all submissions from Industrial Biotechnology enterprises and academia alike.
