BIT’s 4th World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology(ibio-2011), successfully held in Dalian World Expo Center on April 25-30, 2011. Totally, there were nearly 300 participants from more than 32 countries and areas have attended the ibio-2011.
As the keynote speakers, Dr. Jürgen Logemann, Director Research and Global In-Licensing, BASF Plant Science Company GmbH, Germany; Dr. Rene F. Labatut, Vice President, Global Manufacturing Technology, Sanofi Pasteur, France; Dr. Bernhard van Lengerich, Chief Science Officer, VP Technology Strategy, General Mills, USA and Dr. Paul A. Stewart, Director, Global Business Development, Eli Lilly and Company Elanco Animal Health Division ,USA made excellent presentations and warmly discussed with the audiences at keynote forum.
Initiated in 2008, ibio never stops her momentum to catch the emerging advances in Industrial Biotechnology (IB). The informative program this year offered profound knowledge in current progress of Industrial Microbiology, Enable Bioprocessing Technologies, Biomaterials, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Environmental Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology, Agriculture Biotechnology, Food Biotechnology, and Applications of Biotechnology in Other Industries. During conference, the participants enjoyed the new ideas, new finding, and new approaches from scientific and clinical leaders, renowned researchers worldwide. Simultaneously, we also provided opportunities for young scientists and newcomers in order to lead lively and interactive debates.
