| The urgent need for alternative sources to petroleum to secure our needs for energy, chemicals and materials is broadly recognized by academe, government, industry and the public. Agricultural biotechnology is a useful alternative source for petroleum. The track 7 aims to look at the current and future strategic development of agricultural biotechnology, relevant sciences and policy issues in the context of industrial perspectives on sustainable growth. |
