BIT’s 3rd Annual World Congress of Molecular & Cell Biology-2013, successfully held in Suzhou, China during June 14-16, 2013. Totally, there were nearly 300 participants from more than 21 countries and areas have attended the CMCB-2013. With the support of Information Research Center of International Talents, SAFEA and China Medicinal Biotech Association, Foreign Experts Databank of SAFEA-Dalian Branch, it has achieved a great breakthrough in the area of Molecular & Cell Biology.

Five keynote speakers have made the wonderful presentations and great contribution at the opening ceremony including: Dr. Alain Bernard, Vice President, Technical Operations, UCB, Belgium, Dr. Jurg Ott,Director, Laboratory of Statistical Genetics, Rockefeller University, USA, Dr. Xiaochun Xu,Chairman &CEO, BoyaLife Group & Co., China, Dr. Moshe Szyf,Founding Co-Director, Sackler Institute for Epigenetics and Psychobiology at McGill, Professor, McGill University Medical School, Canada, Dr. Yi Pan, Distinguished University Professor and Chair, Georgia State University, USA

There were 27 sessions following the ceremony covering many fields including: Genomic Instability and DNA Repair, Epigenetic, Chromatin Structure, Functions and Regulation, Signaling Network and Regulations, Cytoskeleton, Membrane Biology, Stem Cells, Mitochondrial Dynamics, Molecular Imaging and Live Cell Imaging, Aging, Neurodegeneration, Microbe Molecular & Cell Biology.

At the same time, we also added 4 Chinese session including: 论坛一:细胞生物学, 论坛二:分子生物学 论坛三:分子&细胞生物学的新技术, 论坛四:疾病的细胞&分子机制. This annual conference provided a splendid platform for domestic researchers to communicate with international experts. It promoted international exchanges and enhanced scientific development in Molecular & Cell Biology and pushed forward the development of relevant scientific fields worldwide.

Depending on the warmly support and good suggestions from all of the participants, we are confident in organizing CMCB-2014 which would be better and more successful than CMCB-2013.
