BioD-2013

BIT’s 2nd Annual World Congress of Biodiversity, Ecology and Environment (BioD-2013), held in Jinling Convention Center, Nanjing Internatinal Expo Center on April 25-27, achieved a consummation. Over 50 honored guests presented at the ceremony and gave brilliant speeches on invitation, among them are Dr. Frederick Dubee, Senior Advisor, United Nations Global Compact Office, Finland; Dr. Gengyun Zhang, Vice President, Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI), China; Dr. Dexiang Wang, Vice President, Huinong Capital (China), Belgium. More than 80 world-renowned experts, professors, laboratory principals, project leaders and representatives of well-known enterprises attended the conference.

This annual congress comprised 6 Chapters and 12 sessions following the ceremony, including “Global Policy, Economics and Actions on Biodiversity Protection”, “Applications of Ecology and Biodiversity”, “Front Matters of Biodiversity Conservation”, “Progress of Biodiversity and Ecology Research”, “Methods and Technologies in Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation Research”, “Young Investigator's Research & Education”…etc.

This annual conference, brought together nearly 100 specialists from 31 countries and areas, was devoted to the leading issues and popular topics and provide up-to-date information to all over the world. Depending on the warmly support and good suggestions from all of the participants, we are quite confident in organizing BioD-2014 which would be better and more successful than BioD-2012.
