Dear Friends and colleagues,
It is truly an honor to invite you to present your updated progress in peptide and protein researches at BIT Life Sciences¡¯ 1st Annual Peptide and Protein Conference (PepCon-2008), a dedicated event on peptide and protein sciences, which will be held on April 19-21, 2008 in Shenzhen, China, with a theme of ¡°From Concept to Market¡±. This congress intends to initiate an educational and networking platform in Asia Pacific Rim for international academic/industrial institutions and professionals in this area.
Over the past few years, we have witnessed significant advances in peptide and protein researches, in a wide range of fields and scientific disciplines. We are at a particularly exciting time as the impacts of genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics start to drive modern drug discovery. This conference will be geared toward a diverse base of participants from academia to bio-pharmaceutical, chemical, instrumentation and other industries. It is meant to provide a unique congress for interdisciplinary interaction and networking. 24 carefully chosen sessions will foster the exchange of ideas, provide "real world" examples that can be applied in daily practice and present an overview of the technological developments and general trends.
BIT life Sciences have been expanding its event scales up to 10 times in 2008. In the past five years, more than 50,000 professionals in life sciences both in industries and academia directly or indirectly involved in the meetings organized by BIT. We cordially welcome you to join PepCon-2008£¬and enjoy the excitement of supporting translation of scientific discovery into application or therapeutics in the protein and peptide era at the event, which represents 500 domestic and overseas delegates of current ¡°leading wave surfers¡± in peptide and protein technologies from more than 30 countries.
Shenzhen is a modern city in Southern China, a wonderful location adjacent to Hong Kong. It is a city that never fails to live up to even the highest of expectations. You will enjoy not only your academic participation in this Congress, but a chance to explore Shenzhen and the rich tradition it offers.
