The Role of Volunteer
|
Volunteers will help plan the Conference, coordinate Tianjin Local Host programme activities, greet visiting delegates, assist with registration, act as guides during the Conference, and perform other crucial tasks. Volunteers will receive training and support from Tianjin Local Host Secretariat volunteer coordinators.

| How to Be a Volunteer |
|
The success of 2006 World AIDS Day depends heavily on the support of volunteers working with the Tianjin Local Host.
A registration form will be available from mid-May 2006 for you to register as a volunteer for the Conference.
Volunteers from Other Countries |
|
Persons from countries other than China seeking to volunteer at 2006 World AIDS Day will be required to meet Chinese customs and immigration requirements for visitors (visit the traveling to China page to see the Travel Logistics and Tours section).
Organizing committee of World AIDS Day is not able to offer any financial assistance for overseas volunteers. |
