What happened on World AIDS Day-China, 2006? |
• To integrate current global strategies in control and prevention of AIDS epidemic;
• To update research progress on the disease mechanisms and potential therapeutics
• To demonstrate current anti-AIDS/HIV drug discovery products;
• To unify science and community efforts to secure Access for All;
• To focus on increasing public awareness and insights into local commitment, effective leadership, global accountability and actions facilitating the preventions and healthcare/medicare, education.
To initiate more charity activities to provide diverse assistances to improve living qualities and community support to pediatric and women AIDS patients. Every penny raised will be 100% delivered to those patients in urgent need. |

| The first therapeutics under development by FusoGen Pharmaceuticals Inc. is an HIV fusion inhibitor,Sifuvirtide. The patent applications have been approved in China and in USA,and also pending in Europe and Japan. According to cell-based assay,Sifuvirtide has 20-fold better inhibition activity than T-20. This project is supported by Tianjin city government and national 863.Due to the excellent safety profile and potent inhibition activity,Sifuvirtide has entered phase I clinical trials in China in April of 2005. |
